PDIA Karting
Mini Grand Prix 1st March 2012

Nine members and two guest, put their foot down to race around the track at Raceway Kerting, Skinner Lane, Pontefract to find the GP winner 2012 ......
The evening started with the guys being split in to two groups and each had a 5 minute warm up and track familiarisation session.... Then it was time for the fun (or should that say serious) competition to start .... Each driver was to take part in four heats and then the places from those heats, gave the rankings from one to eleven. The grouped was then separated in to two leagues for the final shoot out - at this point Paul Pritchard dropped out due to injury.... At the end of the evening after the presentation, there were a few drinks in the bar ....... naturally ! |

PDIA Members took an evening away from work and visited the Police Driver Training Centre at Crofton to become students. Under expert instruction members had great fun and gained valuable experience at controlling skids...... |

20 Members of the PDIA took a 'Coaching for Driving Instructors Course' that had been arranged in conjunction with Fleetmasters Ltd.
Members came away with new ideas to work on during their time with teir learners. |

PDIA Members set up a stall at the 2008 Pontefract Liquorice Fair and gave out road safety advice to the public.
